Black Friday & Cyber Monday Watch Deals 2026

What historically discounts in this category, and what rarely does

We looked at what was actually reported for Black Friday 2025 by publications that track watch deals, and at what the brands themselves said about their own sales. Everything below is a past figure with a source; the percentages are arithmetic on the reported prices, not estimates. Where we could not verify a claim — several brand sale pages sit behind bot checks we could not read — it is not here.

Seiko: modest, and through authorized department stores

The interesting finding. Seiko’s advertised US prices are tightly controlled — a minimum advertised price is the floor a brand allows a retailer to advertise, which is why some listings only reveal a price in the cart — so Seiko discounts tend to arrive as retailer sale events rather than deep cuts. In 2025 Gear Patrol’s Black Friday round-up recorded the Seiko 5 Sports SRPD55 at $315 from $350 (10% off) and the SRPD51 at $263 from $350 (25% off), the Presage Cocktail Time SRPB46 at $393.75 from $525 (25% off) and the Prospex “Turtle” SRPE99 at $431.25 from $575 (25% off) — all through Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s, both authorized dealers. Where the deep “considerable discounts” on Seiko come from, in Seiko’s own words, is non-authorized sellers, and Seiko warns those watches may not be covered by its warranty or after-sales service. So: expect roughly a quarter off a Seiko 5, Presage or Prospex through a department-store event, and be suspicious of much more.

Timex: large, sitewide, and direct

Timex runs the most predictable sale of the brands we cover. On November 24, 2025 its own store took 30% off more than 100 watches with a checkout code, and the Marlin Automatic — our vintage-style pick — went from $319 to $223. Amazon’s own Black Friday watch sale that year headlined Timex and Citizen at “up to 52% off select styles”, but read the list: the automatic in it, the Timex Harborside Coast, moved from $203 to $172 (15%), while the deepest cut was a $119 dress watch at $41. Headline percentages come from the cheapest quartz; automatics move less.

Citizen: the Tsuyosa did discount, direct

Gear Patrol recorded the 40mm Tsuyosa — our everyday sports pick — at $332 from $450 at Citizen’s own store (26% off) over Black Friday 2025. One data point, but a real one, on the exact watch we recommend.

Orient: direct, and modest

Orient Watch USA has run its own Black Friday sale in past years: the one we could verify, in 2020, was 15% off sitewide with a code, running through December 24. That is the shape to expect from Orient — a modest, sitewide code on its own store — rather than deep cuts on a specific model. On Amazon, Orient’s Kamasu and Bambino prices move a few dollars week to week; our live buttons show where they are today.

Premium winders: real but small

Barrington says in its own blog that it offered “up to 16% off its range of single watch winders” for Black Friday 2024. WOLF maintains a Black Friday sale section on its own store, but the page sits behind a bot check we could not read, so we make no claim about its size. The honest summary for a $300 to $500 winder: a mid-teens percentage off at the maker’s own store is the historical shape, and anything much larger is worth checking twice.

Budget winders and boxes: Amazon’s own event

The Versa, Mozsly, SONGMICS, ProCase and Glenor products we recommend are Amazon-native brands, and this is the class most exposed to Amazon’s own Black Friday Week — “millions of deals” across more than 35 categories with “new deals dropping daily”, in Amazon’s words for 2024 and 2025. We have no per-product history to cite for them, and we will not invent one. What we can do is show you, above, exactly which of them Amazon reports as reduced today.

What rarely discounts

Two classes, for two different reasons. Micro-brand automatics — Pagani Design, ADDIESDIVE, Steeldive, CADISEN, Boderry — have no brand store to run a sale, and in our own daily checks (below) their Amazon prices either did not move at all or drifted by a few dollars with no reported reduction on any day. There is no event to wait for. And a Seiko at a large percentage off is, in Seiko’s own framing, more likely to be a non-authorized listing than a bargain. If the saving is the reason to buy, check the seller before the price.

What our own daily check has seen since July

This site has checked the Amazon price of every product it recommends once a day since July 21, 2026, and keeps each day’s result. That record is a small but honest window on how these listings behave outside a sale. The figures below are what it recorded between July 21 and September 13, 2026 — a dated observation, not a current price; the buttons on this page carry today’s.

• Orient Bambino — moved between roughly $206 and $280, and carried an Amazon-reported reduction on 34 of 65 checks. Orient’s Amazon pricing genuinely drifts; a good day exists without a holiday.
• Orient Kamasu — roughly $301 to $345, with a reported reduction on 43 of 66 checks; most days sat within a few dollars of $328.
• Citizen Tsuyosa — roughly $332 to $380, and it carried a reported reduction on 61 of 63 checks. That is what a permanently “discounted” list price looks like, and why the list price is the wrong comparison.
• Invicta Pro Diver — roughly $80 to $100, drifting most days, with a reported reduction on 17 of 66 checks.
• Versa Single Elite, Glenor Co 12-slot, ProCase 6-slot, Pagani Design GMT 40mm and 42mm, Steeldive SD1953 — did not move by a cent in any check. The Glenor carried a reported reduction on 43 checks at an unchanging price, which tells you what that flag is worth on its own.

Buy now or wait for November? By product class

This is our judgment, from the history above. It is not a forecast, and we will update it when the 2026 event opens.

• A Seiko 5, Presage or Prospex. Reasonable to wait if you can buy from an authorized department store in late November; 2025 saw roughly 10 to 25% off that way. On Amazon, watch the seller: our live button shows today’s price, and the Presage and Seiko 5 pages explain which reference to want.
• A Timex Marlin. Wait, if you can. Timex’s own 30% off in 2025 is the largest, most consistent discount on any automatic we recommend. If Amazon’s price is already near the sale figure when you read this, there is little to gain.
• A Citizen Tsuyosa. Citizen’s own store discounted it by about a quarter in 2025, to $332. Our own checks since July put the Amazon price between roughly $332 and $380 on ordinary days, so compare the button above to that $332 figure: if it is already there, waiting buys nothing.
• An Orient. Buy when you need it. The history is a modest sitewide code on Orient’s own store, and the Amazon price moves by small amounts; waiting weeks to save 15% on a $230 Bambino is a fair trade only if the date does not matter.
• A micro-brand automatic. Buy now. There is no sale to wait for, and stock on these listings comes and goes — our micro-brand page explains why.
• A premium winder (WOLF, Barrington). Waiting has historically been worth a mid-teens percentage at the maker’s own store. If the winder is a gift with a date, buy it; if it is for you, the saving is real but not large.
• A budget winder or a watch box. These are the products most likely to appear in Amazon’s own event, and also the ones where the saving is a few dollars. Buy when you need them; check here in November if you are curious.

How to check a deal is real

1. Compare against our dated price, not the list price. Every button on this site shows the price from our most recent daily check and the date it was pulled. If a “40% off” headline lands on a number we saw last week, the deal is the difference between the two, not the headline.
2. Look at the seller. For a Seiko, Orient or Citizen, prefer a listing sold by Amazon itself or an authorized dealer. Seiko is explicit that watches from non-authorized sellers may not be eligible for its warranty or service.
3. Treat “see price in cart” as normal, not shady. It usually means the retailer is selling below the brand’s minimum advertised price and is not allowed to display it. Add it to the cart to see the figure.
4. Check the return window. Amazon’s stated 2025 policy allowed most purchases made between November 1 and December 31 to be returned until January 31, which is what makes buying early safe. Confirm the current year’s terms on the listing.
5. Ignore the tourbillon. A sub-$100 watch whose listing says “tourbillon” is describing an open balance wheel. A real one costs thousands. The word means nothing at Black Friday prices.

Key dates for 2026

• Amazon Prime Big Deal Days — Amazon’s October event, Prime-only, framed by Amazon as the start of holiday shopping. Confirmed for Tuesday, October 6 to Wednesday, October 7, 2026, opening at 12:01 a.m. Pacific. In 2025 it ran October 7 to 8.
• Amazon Black Friday Week — opened November 21 in 2024 and November 20 in 2025, each the Thursday eight days before Black Friday, and ran through Cyber Monday. Not yet announced for 2026.
• Black Friday — Friday, November 27, 2026.
• Cyber Monday — Monday, November 30, 2026.

Retailers have spread promotions across the whole of November and December for years now, and holiday deals have started as early as October since the pandemic — so the single-day framing is mostly nostalgia. The practical version: the week before Thanksgiving through the Monday after is when the Amazon-native winders and boxes move; late November is when the department stores run their Seiko events; and Timex and Citizen’s own stores have opened their sales in the days before Black Friday.
