That commission is how we keep the lights on. It does not change which watch or winder we recommend, and it never will.

Dial & Lume is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Our Amazon links carry our Associates tag (t5watches-20). We may add other retailers or brand-direct programs over time; when we do, the same rules apply and we’ll disclose them here.

How to spot the links

Buy buttons and product links that may earn us a commission go through a /go/ link and open at the retailer in a new tab. Each one is marked #adand carries a link back to this page. Prices shown next to those buttons come from a live daily check and are stamped with the date; where we can’t verify a current price, the button reads “Check price on Amazon” instead of a number.

Why it doesn’t bias our picks

Two reasons. First, principle: our whole value to you is honesty, and a recommendation you can’t trust is worth nothing. Second, structure: we’ll recommend a cheaper watch over a pricier one whenever it’s the better buy, even though the cheaper one usually pays us less — and we’ll tell you when to skip a purchase entirely, which pays us nothing at all.
